I am a Registered Representative through New York Life & NYLife Securities. I started building this career in 2017.  Since then, I’ve studied and continued to build a strong & steady practice to best serve you.

My Purpose

She Empowers is more than a business—it’s a calling. Since 2017, my vision has been to remove the stigma and intimidation around financial planning and create a welcoming space where anyone can feel comfortable, no matter where they are on their financial journey. All you need is the desire to set goals and a commitment to take action.

For me, it’s never been about having the most Clients… It's about serving the right clients well and building meaningful, long-term relationships that truly make a difference. My greatest joy comes from seeing clients succeed.

My Roots

I’m proud to call Hawkins, TX home. I graduated from Hawkins High School in 1991. I earned an Associate Degree in Office Administration from Tyler Junior College, providing a strong foundation in organization, communication, and client service that continues to support my work today.

My two kids were born and raised in Brownsboro, where they were surrounded by family and friends with strong small-town values. They are by far my best accomplishment. Today, both are married and thriving as they're raising families of their own. I am blessed to be “Maw” to six grandchildren.

In 2019, I returned to Hawkins to care for my mother, alongside my brother, as she faces Alzheimer’s dementia. My dad, Wayne Jerden, who was also born and raised in Hawkins, lived here until his passing in 2018. Coming home was a full-circle moment for me.

My Life Today

Since 2021, I’ve been sharing this charmed  life with JD Hubbard. Together, we’re building a life that blends family, purpose, and adventure.  When we’re not working, you’ll find us outdoors chasing sunrises, sunsets, goals & adventures making memories that last a lifetime with our hearts overflowing with gratitude.

JD had the privilege of raising his daughter, Chloe, right here in Hawkins, also surrounded by family and friends with the same small-town values. Chloe and her husband are thriving as well, and building a family and life of their very own.  They'll be welcoming their first child soon.....to make sure we don't lose count, that will be grandbaby number SEVEN.

To say we’re proud of our kids is an understatement.

In February 2025, I purchased the commercial property that is now home to She Empowers Wealth Strategies. JD and I, along with generous help from family and friends have created an amazing space. Our vision was to create not just a professional space, but a welcoming environment where everyone who enters knows they’ve found exactly where they belong.
